Art Full Text indexes over 400 leading art and design journals from 1984 to the present, with full-text of over 100 journal titles since 1997.
ARTbibliographies Modern is a database of abstracts and citations for journal articles, books and essays on all forms of modern and contemporary art dating from the late 19th century onwards. The database is not full-text, and one must therefore use citations from ARTbib Modern to locate articles elsewhere in the CCA Libraries (or beyond).
Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals offers a comprehensive listing of journal articles on architecture and design, including bibliographic descriptions on subjects such as the history and practice of architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, historic preservation, and interior design and decoration. The database is not full-text, however, and one must therefore use citations from the Index to locate articles elsewhere in the CCA Libraries (or beyond).
Combined Search is a metasearch engine that scans many CCA library resources at once, including the library catalog, periodical indexes, full-text databases, and ARTstor. Always search individual databases directly when comprehensive or in-depth research is desired.
Design & Applied Arts Index (DAAI) provides access to journal articles published in over 450 international craft and design journals since 1973 and includes data on over 50,000 designers, craftspeople, studios, workshops and companies. The database is not full-text, however, and one must therefore use citations from DAAI to locate articles elsewhere in the CCA Libraries (or beyond).
Use Journal Finder to find journals (not articles) that CCA Libraries have access to in article databases online and on the library shelves.
The Literature Resource Center includes full-text author biographies and bibliographies, literary criticism, articles, interviews, and entries from the Encyclopedia of Literature.
OmniFile Full Text Select is a full-text database providing full text articles in all subject areas. Coverage begins in 1994.
