Exhibitions: The Diversity Studies Program at California College of the Art presents Home: Making Space for Radical Love and Struggle, its first ever faculty exhibition, from April 9-20, 2018 at the Tecoah Bruce Gallery, Oliver Art Center, Oakland campus. This show will feature new work exploring the theme of "Home" and its myriad resonances in relation to academia, community, family, identity and nation, and will also incorporate teach-ins, lectures, live music and poetry readings. with MENArt group (Middle Eastern and North African Art Group) COMAR (Community Arts) Students. Musical performance by Jennifer Johns.Presentations by Black Arts/Diversity Studies Founder Alashe Michael Oshoosi (Michael Wright) Former Diversity Studies Chairs Malaquias Montoya and Sonia BasSheva Manjon
