Description
We help companies weave sustainability into their textile products.

We help companies weave sustainability into their textile products.

Texrilla is the leading platform for sustainable-minded businesses that clarifies standards, develops a customized textile product assessment, and provides an implementation plan for growth.
Fabric choices have a tremendous impact on the quality of life. Fabric products surround us—on our bodies and in our homes. Although beautiful, over time, they transform into waste.

In the U.S. alone, 13 million tons of textile waste is created annually and only 15% of that gets recycled leaving 11 million tons in landfills.(http://www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/materials/ textiles.htm) The U.S. textile industry is toxic, wasteful and is in need of innovation. We believe sustainability is the key that can turn this industry around.

Similar to textiles, the organic food industry experienced modest beginnings, but through the catalyst of education and standardization, today sales are at $60 billion. This is an increase of 300% just within the last decade. The textile industry has the potential to reach this same level of growth.

We created the Texrilla platform to guide companies through the mass of sustainability standards, to the right ones for their textile products. This will not be a choice in the near future. Our service will place companies ahead of the curve. Texrilla provides a solution for sustainable growth through clarity, assessment and growth.

The first step in the Texrilla service begins with a user visiting the Texrilla homepage. A video introduces them to the meaning and the value of sustainability as well as how our service works. The user can take their education further by conducting a search using our library search engine.
