This is the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts website that was hosted at wattis.cca.org containined exhibition information from when Wattis opened in 1998 up until the site was redesigned in 2014. The website is packaged as a single zip archive—in order to browse it, download the zip archive, unzip it into a folder hierarchy, and open the index.html file in the root of the folders in a web browser. The majority of the site is a list of exhibitions with a description and photographs.
Yesterday, I rode down a hill on a bug brings together a number of CCA/C archival images and objects throughout the library to look back and celebrate a variety of competitions that took place from the 1970s through last year. The competitions included the CCA Classic, a mini-golf tournament hosted by the Jewelry and Metal Arts Program, student vs. faculty softball tournaments, participation in the Leap Sandcastle Classic at Ocean Beach, and soap box derbies, organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
